Frequently Asked Questions

We have been renting our holiday apartments since December 2018. Overs the years we have receiced the same, or very similar, questions from guests. Consequently, on this page we have listed some of these questions and our answers.

Do you offer breakfast?

No. There are numerous cafés and several good bakeries very close to the holiday apartments.

Do the holiday apartments have sloping ceilings?

No. None of the holiday apartment have sloping ceilings.

In a historic building are the ceilings very low?

Not in our building! Generally, our ceilings are more than two an a half meters above floor level. The exceptions are:

• Holiday Apartment 1 - Hallway (2.45 m) and bathroom (2.40 m).
• Holiday Apartment 2 - Second bedroom (2.21 m), hallway (2.24) and bathroom (2.24 m).
• Holiday Apartment 3 - Bathroom (2,08 m).

Are towels, etc. provided?

Yes. Every guest is provided with a flannel, hand towel and a bath/shower towel.

Should we bring bedding?

No. The beds are made up - with sheet, quilt with cover and pillows (square and rectangular) with covers.

Can we bring our pets with us?

No, so that guests with allergies can stay in our hioliday apartments, we regret that pets are not allowed.

Are the holiday apartments non-smoking?

Yes, smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building.

Can you easily drive to the holiday apartments?

Yes, if you follow our instructions! Unfortunately, the GPS, or SatNavs, of various cars are not that reliable in the Altstadt (Old Town) of Wernigerode.

Can I park my car at the holiday apartments?

Yes. There is one car parking space for each apartment in our courtyard.
